2012 So Far...

I've been keeping pretty busy lately with my online classes (I currently have all A's!), so I haven't posted in a while. I was taking 14 credits, but I ended up dropping down to 12; still full time, but not quite so overwhelming. After this semester I'm just one class away from my Associates Degree! Finally!

Well, the first exciting thing that happened in 2012 was that we found out we are having a little boy! His name is Kender James Cleaver. It was so amazing to see him via ultrasound! He's not even born yet and I already have that motherly "my baby is the cutest baby in the world" feeling.

Here he is!

In February, the Cleavers got together at a cabin in Island Park. It was a blast to see everyone! It was especially great to see Susan, Nicole, Melissa, Soren, and Jett all ride snowmobiles. Seeing them helped me to summon the courage to get back on a sled. Ryan rode around with me to help keep me nice and safe. Riding in powder is a lot more fun than riding on ice :) We even got to see some wildlife! I didn't get any pictures of it, but there was a fox at the top of a little hill we were riding around. I'd never seen one so close!

Another exciting tidbit from January was that we got a decent amount of snow in Poulsbo!

I snapped a picture of Ryan and Scott out the window as they were posing for Melissa: Ryan is in the orange helmet, Scott is in the blue one.

Ryan took this one: What a beautiful sunset!

Being attacked by a teddy bear = adorable

Soren and Jett were actually holding hands as they used their bums to slide down the stairs, but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of that. I stepped in when it turned into finger-tug-of-war. Still cute!

Here's the beautiful cabin. We were blessed with great weather!

Here's Ryan playing with Soren and Jett in their tunnel. He's gonna be an awesome dad!

Ryan and I decorated some Valentine's Day sugar cookies with Soren. He made one for Grandpa - his face is priceless!
