So Far in November

Here’s an update of what we’ve been up to from the end of October to now – ELECTION NIGHT!!! Go Romney! This is a nail biter! I was hoping for a landslide…

After being sick, Kender continued to be fussy for a few days. We didn’t know why, and we did a bunch of research and tried different methods, but nothing seemed to work. He did fine at bedtime, but freaked out when we tried to put him down for a nap. It was very frustrating, and exhausting…

Last night it finally dawned on us… Every night before bed, Kender gets a bath, a bottle, and a story. Every. Single. Night. He knows exactly what to expect. Naptime is a different story… They usually happen whenever and however is convenient that day. We decided maybe we should try starting a naptime routine as well. And like magic, IT WORKED! Now before naps, Kender has quiet time with mommy. We read a book, I sing to him, and make shadow shapes for him with his projector on his ceiling. Then I give him his binky and blankey and he’s out! It’s been soooooooo nice. I hope it continues! Ok, now for the pictures:

Here, Kender is enjoying some naked time in his boppy.

Roxy found a small box, and squeezed into it.

Here’s Kender’s Halloween costume! A puppy! We didn’t do anything (besides eat candy), so he only wore it to his aunt Melissa’s house. But he was still adorable!

Today Kender started fussing a few minutes after I put him down for a nap. When I went in to check on him, I found him like this! He recently learned to roll from his back to his tummy, but he’s never done it in his crib before! And sometimes he forgets how to roll back…

The men watching the election :)

This one is a little old. I think Kender was 2 months old? This is the one and only time Daddy wore the moby wrap

This is another old one. Roxy was feeling neglected, so I showed her what it’s like to be a real baby.

Kender being cuddly before a nap :) I love Kender cuddles!

The first snow of the year (in mid October). I can’t remember exactly how much it was... I wanna say 6 inches.

This is a hat I made for Kender. He will probably grow out of it next week!

Matching mittens :)

My new glasses. They’re gonna take some getting used to, but I’m just glad I can see! Apparently they don’t make contacts in the power I need. They are either too strong or too weak. I was tired of fuzzy street signs!

I love this picture so much!

Our Christmas decorations this year! We don't have the room (or money) for a real tree, but this works just fine :)
