I know I've said this before, but I really love my blog. I love going back and seeing where we were last year or two years ago, seeing how Rhett is developing and how Kender developed, and soaking up our sweet memories. I just love it. So here's what we've been up to!
PS - We got new phones and they take great pictures, so we've been taking tons! Therefore, this post has tons of pictures. Get ready... Go!
It happened. My little boy is three!
For Kender's birthday, Ryan took him to ride an excavator (his ultimate obsession). He had so much fun! After that, he got to go with Ryan and Paul to pic out a new truck; for daddy, not for him. The next day, we did cake and ice cream at home. My cake may not look pretty, but it was delicious! I was pretty proud of myself! Lets just say, coconut oil makes everything better. After cake and ice cream and singing the birthday song several times as per Kender's request, he got to open his presents. He had a real good time. I'll let the pictures and videos speak for themselves!
Ryan's Oath of Office
This was where Ryan and the other new deputies got "sworn in." It was short, but I thought it was super cool! Ryan and the guy next to him look a lot alike and everyone used to get them mixed up. They really do look like they could be brothers!
4th of July 2015
Paul got some really great pictures of the kids on the 4th! It was a really fun day. Grandpa Wright and Melissa, Nicole, and Bill's (Susan's brother) families all came over and Bill put on a huge fireworks show for us! It was amazing! I had planned on getting pictures and videos of it, but Kender thought it was pretty loud and scary so we ended up watching it from inside and then he loved it. It's so fun to have all those boys play together!
Summer Fun
Western Washington is so beautiful in the summer time. All that rain in the winter makes for some beautiful summer scenery! We've been exploring parks, going to gymnastics and soccer, playing with cousins, and playing outside as much as we can. You really can't beat the summers here!
Toodles!
