We were fortunate enough to have another sunny day, so we went for a drive to get the boys out of the house for a bit. We decided to pick up a pizza and eat it in the car (if you look closely, you can see traces of pizza sauce on Kender’s seat belt). Rhett is almost 14 months old and barely eats finger foods, not because of any developmental delay, but because he is so dang picky!
He loves crackers, but they have to be Ritz or they go on the floor. He loves apples and Halo oranges, but they better be cut and peeled the right way or they go on the floor. Actually, they go on the floor anyway because “I’m gonna drop this and make mommy pick it up” is every baby’s favorite game. The point of this little rant is that Rhett ate three pieces of pizza crust and I am so excited! It’s a huge milestone! Not only is it proof that he’s 100% capable of eating food by himself, but he loves pizza. That’s an A+ in my book!
That’s all for now.
