Someday we will go on an awesome second honeymoon. We've talked about going on a cruise, or possibly back to Leavenworth. But first I have to get brave enough to leave our babies for more than a few hours 😱

Rhett attempted potty training for the first time today! He refused to wear his diaper and stayed dry in these superman undies for about 1.5 hours before having an accident. Not too bad! Mostly he just looks really cute in undies.

Sometimes possessions distract us from appreciating the most important things in life. By eliminating these distractions, we can lead a more fulfilling life.
This one really rings true with me. There are SO many distractions in the world nowadays.
My favorite moments are the simple ones when we are just together. When Ryan and I sit by the Christmas tree and the boys climb up and join us for snuggles. Or in the evenings when Kender and I read together. Or when I'm sitting on the couch and Rhett walks up and says, "Mommy, can I have a hug?" Or when I'm doing the dishes and Ryan hugs me from behind. Yep, moments like those are the best ♥
