Today is the 22nd of December and we finally got our stockings hung by our chimney with care. It's finally starting to feel like Christmas around here! Our tree is full of ornaments and cards, and even has a few presents underneath. Things have been crazy since October when we moved and had a baby. In November we had family come in to town for Thanksgiving (and we were trying to get the hang of having 3 kids), then in December we all got sick with HFMD. Now that we are all on the mend, things are finally starting to settle down enough for me to enjoy the spirit of the season. Our home feels so cozy and festive! My favorite thing to do is sit on the couch enjoying a Christmas movie while a fire blazes in our wood burning stove.

I'm not sure what it was about today, but the boys were feeling the spirit of the season as well. We listened to Christmas music and they decided they wanted to make more Christmas ornaments! Rhett made some really cool marbled ones with our Christmas cookie cutters. He didn't want to let me dry them out (he wanted to keep playing with them) but fortunately he got distracted and I snuck them away to dry. They are too cool not to keep!

When the boys were done with ornaments, they dug through our craft drawer and spent the afternoon making Christmas presents for their dad. It was all Kender's idea. I've got a pretty awesome little boy on my hands 💗
A couple of our ornaments from yesterday are dry enough to hang on the tree. The boys were pretty excited to see their creations hanging up.

This is a snowman that Rhett and I made... He looks more like Pablo from the Backyardigans 😂 |

This road tape was another awesome Walmart find. It kept Rhett entertained for hours! |
