The Joy in Motherhood

It's only Tuesday, but so far this week has been filled with precious little moments. First, We've had several beautiful sunny days. That's rare for us this time of year here in the PNW, and I'm loving it.

Next, Kender and Rhett have had some precious brother moments. Rhett learned how to climb onto the top bunk, and Ryan went in to check on them one night and found them asleep like this:

And since Rhett has been so interested in school lately, and doing so well with his lessons, Kender has been having fun teaching him. They sit together with the letter magnets and practice making up words and sounding them out. It's pretty cute to watch 😄

Last night Ryan and I went on a date for the first time since we had Mason! We went to Red Robin and scarfed down our favorite burgers. Then we went to a bunch of different stores looking for decorations for our built-in. We found a really cool globe and a cute little canvas print, and now it finally looks complete!

Last but not least, I had some quality time with my little snuggle buddy.
