The week of Kender’s birthday was the start of our summer break from school. Ryan had plans to work with his dad to take out some more trees and finish our circle driveway, and Kender’s birthday party was coming up that weekend. Then the following week I’d be heading out to Utah for The Good and The Beautiful Convention, so it seemed like the perfect time for a break.
