Rhett turned 8 this year, which means I had to plan my first real baptism!
Kender got baptized during Covid, so we kept the whole thing pretty simple, with only close family members invited. This time, I had to plan a whole program. It was really intimidating for me, but it ended up being fine. If you're interested in learning about how we do baptism and why it's important, you can learn more

We are SO proud of Rhett! He was terrified to put his head under the water. We've been practicing at the pool, but he wasn't able to do it without panicking, and the big day was creeping up. We asked him about it, and he decided he still wanted to be baptized. He figured it was only for a short second, and Dad would be holding him the entire time. We continued practicing the motions out of the water. He had faith that Heavenly Father would help him face his fear, and he did it!! He is such a good example to all of us. We love you so much Rhett, and we are so proud of you!

We took tons of pictures, but this one is definitely my favorite. Ryan was trying to get Mason to look at the camera and smile... |

Rhett wanted to invite his best friend for moral support. These two are the cutest buddies! I'm so glad they have each other. |
